Land grabs threaten to destroy a dying dynasty
Scenario
With no heir apparent to the big Lawson bullpen, Australia’s rival teams see an opportunity to seize control. The series was shot in remote, barely populated locations throughout the Northern Territory and South Australia – not to mention they were shown on screen. Filming locations include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park – with special permission from the traditional owners – and Tipperary Station, a real, working cattle station so big it has its own airport and school..
And you have high hopes
There’s a show you’ll start watching. This is a show about a family that owns a lot of land in the back of Oz. Something wonderful can be done on stage.
Earth and its charm is, unfortunately, spoiled by an extremely bad script
It’s very dramatic, the characters border on caricatures, and a lot of things happen that aren’t entirely believable. At the same time, the viewer wants to be drawn into a story about a family with characters of depth and complexity. They ask to do it, but the characters can’t form a family that you interact with.
There’s a lot of crime and drama going on and it’s again poorly written
Apparently, in the big country where people are constantly shooting, robbing and hurting each other. So I really wanted to like it, but the writers made it a second-rate crime show that, despite some great actors, doesn’t deserve a high rating. However, I hope for a second season if they tone down the drama and violence a lot and let some talented people write the script.
But that’s it
There is a base with kits and a good cast that they can build on.
