In 2018, VIGILANCE FOUNDATION, located in Madurai, embarked on a transformative journey with the mission encapsulated in the slogan “A GUARD TO YOUR RECOVERY.” This therapeutic healing center is the result of the remarkable convergence of courage, willpower, and dedication, driven by the selfless efforts of Mr. R. Karthikeyan—a distinguished Addiction Therapist and philanthropist.
Mr. Karthikeyan’s personal odyssey through two decades of hardcore addiction mirrors the challenges faced by many. His triumphant recovery journey over the past 8 years serves as a testament to the transformative power of resilience and dedication. Having experienced the depths of addiction himself, he now recognizes the profound importance of comprehensive recovery programs and embraces the fruits of a clean and sober life.
Motivated by gratitude and a deep desire to pay forward the happiness he found in recovery, Mr. Karthikeyan established VIGILANCE FOUNDATION. This organization is more than a healing center; it’s a beacon of hope for those still grappling with addiction and a contribution to societal well-being.
Registered with the Government of India and in the process of obtaining licensing from the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) under the Mental Health Care Act of 2017, VIGILANCE FOUNDATION is committed to upholding the highest standards of care and legality.
