VIGILANCE FOUNDATION – PSYCHIATRIC CARE CUM DEADDICTION CENTRE began its journey with the slogan“A GUARD TO YOUR RECOVERY”. A combination of courage, will power, dedication and the selfless efforts of Mr. R. Karthikeyan a well known Addiction Therapist and philanthropist started this therapeutic healing center, at Madurai in the year of 2018.
The Founder himself was in to the hardcore addiction over a period of two decades and was suffering with the disease of addiction, and now he is clean and sober for the past 8 years after a continuous struggle against his disease. Now he is realized the importance of these kind of Recovery program and enjoying the fruit happily.
Mr.Karthikeyan wanted to share the happiness he received and to carry the message of his recovery to the still suffering people and to the society. As a result of his gratitude he has opened this Organization.
Our VIGILANCE FOUNDATION is registered with Govt. of India, and to be licensed by IMH, under Mental Health care Act 2017.

Addiction

At VIGILANCE, we have medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, study, and Treatment of mental disorders. These include various abnormalities related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions.

Separate ward for Women
We provide separate Wards for women patient with dedicated Female Attenders, Nurses to ensure the safety with extra care.
Counseling Units
We have various visiting and internal counselors who make frequent counseling and guidance to their patients. Our units are equipped with a couch for individualized treatment and complete privacy.
Library
The library has more than 100 English and Tamil Books. The collection of the library in the area of Fictions, Short Stories, Poem, Philosophy, Auto Biographies and Spiritual are very strong.
